Hi! My name is Anika and I am in my first year at the University of Oregon, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in violin performance.

I am a graduate of Garfield High School and served as the Symphony Orchestra’s Concertmaster during my senior year. Additionally, I was a student of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2012 to 2020.

I started teaching my sophomore year of high school through the Seattle Music Partners Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking barriers in music education and bringing quality instruction to children of all backgrounds.

As a teacher, I believe in creating a safe space for the student. I encourage my students to think independently and work with them to come up with ways to address aspects of their playing. I like to begin by asking the student what they’d like to work on so they get the most out of the lesson.

I’m currently offering remote violin lessons. I’d be happy to teach your student! For more information or to schedule a lesson, head over to our Enrollment page. I look forward to working with you!
